Here I prepare a plaster-aluminum reaction. Its a kind of Thermite as well. The mixture shown in this vid is 108 gr aluminum powder and 204 gr of white plaster powder. U can use 2-1 (by weight) Plaster-Aluminun as well (e.g. 10oz of plaster - 5oz of Al) The simpliest and cheapest plaster U can get in any hardware store. For example this plaster U need to fill the spaces after mounting dry-wall panels. I did NOT heat up the paster powder to get rid of the crystal-water in it (CaSO4 * 1/2H2O) USE DRY POWDER of course. Dont buy any ready mixtures filled up with sand or so. Forget about any oxidizers and dealers askin' what U wanna do with it. The container for the mixture has been the EMPTY tube of an old German military smoke grenade for exercise purpose. But U can use any other cans and paper-rolls as well, of course.
