Max had both his back legs broken when was run down by a car at the age of 2. The vet recommended that he be put down, but his owner couldn't let that happen, as he is an important part of the family and should live a long and happy life. The vets repaired his legs as best they could, but the only option was to fix his upper and lower legs together so that he now has no knee joint. After the operation, Max's legs looked normal but weren't quite strong enough to carry him. So his owner did some research and found a company in the US that makes custom leg braces for dogs, and now, at the age of 11, he is loving life with his owner, brother Jake, and friends Sky and the two cats!
