My Martial Arts Background:
My style is Taekwondo Kickboxing, which means I train my Taekwondo skills to be used under various forms of Kickboxing style competition rules (Full-Contact, International, Muay Thai, Sanda, etc). I started training in 2001 at age 15. I've also cross-trained both formally and informally in various other striking and grappling styles (Submission Wrestling). I have also been in over a dozen street fights in my life (I do not condone fighting outside of the dojang/ring). And although I have cross-trained in many styles, I am still first and foremost a Taekwondo stylist, but I am a Taekwondo stylist who practices his art without the limitations of any one set of fighting rules or regulations. I'm also a stuntman, filmmaker and fight choreographer.
