This is a live recording from a BBC Radio 1 broadcast transmitted on January 18th, 1970. Though it is an amazing recording, I'm sure it is no match for the lost studio recording of 1969. It was recorded at Groove Sound Studio in New York City between May 19th and 21st, 1969, and I'm hoping that it's been packed away somewhere and is just temporarily missing.
