Metal Detecting New Zealand.. FOUND MY OLDEST COIN (SILVER)
Went hunting with "madsonicboating" (check out his youtube channel) in South Island New Zealand, and ended up finding my oldest coin to date (1834). We hunted an old school house and an old park.

started off pretty average kinda day...then boom I hit the silvers yet again!! And...Krystal nailed our first ever gold ring seen dug using the old faithful GC1010 detector..check it out!
My RECORD SILVERS treasure galore!!!
First trips to the Timaru Showgrounds...found some nice silvers and cracked new personal high of 9 silver coins found in one day!! Wicked! These ground will be concreted over one day soon and all our history lost beneath the dirt will remain there possibly forever!

Finally...I brought a Fisher F2 off ebay and it arrived after paying NZ customs their share aswell! This thing is a beast the 11" coil signals are so much more "positive" than my chinese detector. Scored first silver with it within an hour :)

Went for a drive Sunday arvo and ended up at a few local spots just mucking around, then ended teh day starting to dig at a spot near where I spent my teen years. No old bottles as of yet but I know they gotta be there somewhere :)
