Oban to Tyndrum from the air
After lunch, we swapped seats in the plane and headed due East from Oban, following the A85 road to Tyndrum at the foot of Glencoe. Watch for Ben Nevis to the North, suitably topped in snow. Another highlight is the dam at Ben Cruachan.

Backpacking and Camped with my Son John at Cononish near Tyndrum. The weather was fair then it turned to snow but not too heavy. Had a walk in the hills and may have come across gold in a stream. There is a working Gold mint at Cononish. Gold can be found in the rivers and streams of that area....
